Winner of 2016 "Hero Dog" Award turned around a very sad beginning...

September 14, 2016

Hooch, a French Mastiff that last Saturday night won the 2016 "Hero Dog" award, beat out a variety of other heroes (and sheroes) to win the top honor. Hooch, pictured here, was once horribly dehydrated and starving because his tongue had been cut out to ready him for dog fighting. He now serves as a therapy dog with autistic, abused and special needs children. Hooch once again shows us that dogs can be incredibly forgiving toward people, even after stunning abuse.
